North Dakota State University, Division of Performing Arts                             August 2004-August 2015

Promotions Director
Develop and implement promotion and recruitment campaigns for the departments of music,
theatre, and visual arts in addition to promoting division events.  Represent NDSU Performing Arts in campus, community, and national organizations in addition to local and regional media.  Contract and promote visiting artists, such as the Vienna Boys Choir, The Second City, and Arlo Guthrie. Develop and maintain web site in addition to social media accounts. Regularly led teams that resulted in successful audience development campaigns.

Public Information/Development Officer               

Develop and implement promotion campaigns and prepare grants for thirteen libraries in a seven-county region.  Work with regional media.  Design/create brochures, bookmarks, newsletters, reports, and more.  Update and maintain several pages on web site.  Research and obtain funding for programs and materials.

Worked with members throughout the campus to prepare a Technology Fee Action Plan Request to create an Active Learning Classroom in Minard Hall.

 

ESPN Meet and Greet, Homecoming Week, October 2015

Worked with ESPN producer Don Skwar to create and publicize a meet and greet with several ESPN hosts.  Invited journalism students from NDSU, MSUM, and Concordia; approximately 150 students attended this event.
